An admittedly light post, but I am dealing with Other Things. Some dealing with/dealt with similar know.
So, this might be a re-run. Don’t care. Still amusing. Or a-moo-sing:
NOTE: Riding bovines is unusual, but NOT unheard of. It can be done, obviously. Generally bovines are used for traction rather than direct riding, if for transport at all. Why? Horses are faster, and faster to train. A bovine can learn just as much as an equine, but the teacher must know bovines and know them well – and have even great patience. Equines learn (fairly) fast. Bovines learn deep. You have ONE chance to get it right. ONE.
And, recently, this exchange occurred:

The Chupik: “Filipinx”
Ox: Is that the tea thing? Flipping the bird, but with the pinky?
SAH: I love you, Ox.
I knew a guy who as a kid trained a Hereford and rode it like a horse.
Used to be you could find a photo online by searching his name but the Rent Too High guy and a Speedway racer from England now fill pages and pages of stuff even trying to exclude them.
