  1. Hmm. About the same time I had the exact same thing with the Windstar. A bit more drastic of a fix, though – I pulled every fuse and relay in the engine compartment distribution box, and contact cleaned all of them. Worked like a charm for a couple of days, then the same silent treatment.

    Happened to think of whether I tightened the battery clamp after finishing with the distributor box. Umm… took a look and it was all wiggly. I had not. FACEPALM TIME!

    Next thing is to see if the same will fix the heat on it. But since that involves being sprawled over two bucket seats and upside down to get at that box, that is a later much.
